The healthful oils of flaxseed, fish and borage make a delicious, yet important nutritional fatty acid supplement. To prevent oxidation, the fragile essential fatty acids are protected by additional vitamin E. All the oils are extracted without solvents and contain no artificial preservatives. Dosage
3 softgels, twice daily or as directed by a health care practitioner. Keep out of the reach of children.
Contraindications
- Because fish oil supplementation may reduce platelet stickiness, it may also increase the risk of bleeding in patients taking anticoagulant drugs like Coumadin® and platelet inhibiting drugs like aspirin and Ticlid®.
Additional Information
Children: Suitable for children at one-half the adult dosage.
Pregnancy and Nursing: Fish oils, but not fish liver oil, are considered safe during pregnancy and lactation. Note: Due to its very high levels of vitamin A and vitamin D, cod liver oil should not be taken by women who are at risk or who already are pregnant.
Seniors: No special precautions are known.
