It helps to create a controlled release of blood sugar over a longer space of time. It is low in calories, has a very low glycemic index, and is full of vitamins, minerals and amino acids, and is high in polysaccharides, called PGX.

PGX is a unique blend of selected highly viscous soluble fibres that act synergistically to develop a higher level of viscosity and expansion with water than with the same quantity of any fibre alone. PGX binds to the water in the stomach and small intestine to form a gelatinous, viscous mass that slows down the absorption of glucose (carbohydrates), induces a sense of fullness and reduces the absorption of calories.
